"McCain fights better from behind".

Which will come first the better country or the better fighter?

"No question".

These words come from approximately a Republican Political operative on MSNBC. No question I heard it, but they are transposed. No question is how he started it.

This may seem an unfair attack, but it must be apparent it is completely defensive and self serving in both the quote and my attack.

Ironically we are dealing with a team that came out fighting about fighting for country first. Really? Is there any question?

For what it is, I may have to first go back and remind myself what Obama had enough of. But it seems like digging Fox holes for more "uniters not dividers".

There is no question that McCain and in fact it is not uncommon for so many to fight better from behind, but getting ahead and fighting from there are another story, far different from who is first.

(Speaking of McCain: how ironic that Fred Thompson is headlining tonight. A "Hollywood" celebrity, which brings to mind, Reagan and Swartzneger, not to mention the teflon, yet his subject will be the service and courage of McCain.)
